So 2011 has come already. That was quick! I wish everyone a Happy New Year and hope you all enjoyed Christmas! With a new year comes all the hopes and desires that a new start brings. Resolutions are sometimes made (and may or may not be kept) - I've already made mine for this year, but we'll have to wait to next year to see if I keep them! I've also set myself some goals, I wouldn't necessarily call these resolutions but things I'd like to try and perhaps achieve over the next year. Hopefully, in around 5 months I'll be going to Cuba for a few weeks, which should provide many photo opportunities. I also want to improve my photography skills

My. God. Now, I'd like to think of myself as a reasonably patient person, perhaps fairly firm sometimes, but patient and fair. But lately, I just want to bang my head against the wall. What is going on with the world? It's just ludicrous. I find myself sitting here, looking at things going on in real life, things going on on the internet (especially on DC) and just thinking, "seriously?". What is /with/ the drama! We have lives ahead of us. People to laugh and love with us, places to see, things to do...and yet... drama, fire, flames, hate, pure and simple bullshit pretty much everywhere.
